Mental Health, Naturally

Psychotherapy is my passion and I feel privileged to meet every new client and journey with them. I have been inspired by some brilliant psychotherapists who have helped me.

As a qualified and accredited psychotherapist and counsellor I reach out to help people in a safe, calm and confidential environment. I will be by your side journeying with you, sharing your view and taking a leap of faith into the unknown with you.

Here you can feel free, to be yourself. To be just as you are. To be understood without judgement. To see things in their true light. To see another perspective and be open to possibility.

Since the start of the pandemic, therapists have seen an increase in people suffering from anxiety, stress, feeling overwhelmed and isolated (BACP Mindometer report 2021). Sometimes it is healthier not to do things on our own. Help is here at hand, ready for you.

What is 'integrative counselling and psychotherapy'?

Integrative counselling and psychotherapy weaves together approaches and tools from a range of therapeutic models, enabling therapy to be tailored to you and to the concerns you wish to explore. ‘Walk and talk’ therapy offers integrative counselling and psychotherapy in a nature-based environment.

What to expect?

‘You may feel that what you’re experiencing isn’t serious enough to get help or feel unsure about the kind of support that psychotherapy can offer. But anyone can benefit from becoming more aware of how they see the world and why.’ (UKCP)

Psychotherapy is about changing. It is designed to help you to be able to do, think and feel things differently.

  • To help you recognise the patterns that hold you back and to create new options to change them. And once change happens in one area of life, this opens up possibilities in other areas.
  • To let go of preoccupations and gain clarity of vision.
  • To accept where you are and to move forward to where you want to be.
  • To recognise happiness as it presents itself to you.
  • To gain insight into yourself, and to be curious and inspired.

Psycho-education has a role to play, to empower you to co-create ways of reducing distress by using imagination and creativity. We may collaborate on active practice across different contexts so that you can be self-empowered outside the therapy room.

Your Concerns

I am committed to helping you to gain a greater knowledge and understanding of yourself, to enable you to make the positive life changes you want and have greater skills at managing life’s challenges.

I can help you with a range of concerns including but not limited to: anxiety, stress, loneliness, depression, relationship issues, self-confidence, pressures of work, addiction, trauma or feelings of being lost or overwhelmed. Please contact me to discuss the issues that you wish to bring to therapy.

In addition to being a qualified and accredited psychotherapist and counsellor I have extensive financial services sector experience as a consultant in EY/PwC, two of the ‘big 4’ accountancy firms. As a psychotherapist and consultant, I am in a unique position to understand and address the pressures that are experienced in corporate life.
